Living OFFline – It’s Crucial!
Today during our Twitter Tuesday chat, it quickly became obvious that too many of us struggle to unplug and take time away from our computers, social media, and email.
I know that I’m too often guilty of spending too much time on the computer and not being intentional about how I spend my time.
So, in light of today’s chat, I thought I’d share a few thoughts about being intentional about living OFFline.

You can’t blog about a life you aren’t living – that’s called writing fiction. {Pin it}
I find that I personally become very “dried out” in my blogging when I spend too much time online and not enough offline!

Your family {not your blog} is your most important ministry. {Pin it}
Spouse first, kids second.
How do we counter-act this tendency to live online instead of offline?

#1 – Automate/schedule emails, social media, blog posts, etc. if you can’t stand the thought of shutting it all down for a few hours/days a week.
#2 – Find a way to create passive income on your blog {if $$ is an issue for you}.
#3 – Schedule your “online” time and have a plan of attack set before getting on the computer.
#4 – Use an alarm clock/timer to limit your online time and help keep you focused.
#5 – Schedule “unplugged” time into your weekly routine – start small and add a little over time to reach your “offline” goal.
How are you being intentional about living OFFline?
