Homeschool bloggers get asked all the time how they find time to blog. With a household to run and school to teach, many people assume there is not time left in the day to do much else. In fact, I’ve even gotten this question from other homeschool moms who feel like their day is already super busy and there simply isn’t a place for blogging in their lives.
And that, right there, is the answer.
Blogging is something I consider an Extra Priority. While blogging is not a main priority in my life, I do love to write and communicate. So, just as an avid quilter will FIND the time to quilt, so an avid writer/blogger will FIND the time to keep a blog. It is an extra in my life that has a place of priority.
The plain and simple answer to this question is that if you love to blog, you will find the time to blog. And the converse is true as well. If you find you are struggling to keep up with your blog, then it is not a priority and in my opinion, is not something that should be forced.
It is okay if you do not have a blog. And it is okay if you enjoy blogging. As long as your priorities are in line, one is not more righteous than the other.
