Building a Blogger’s Notebook

Blogging Notebook

I started keeping a Blogging Notebook about 2 years ago when I realized my bits of scrap paper all over the desk and floor weren’t really helping me.

This video shows you how I’ve set up my Blogging Notebook which will hopefully spark some ideas for how you can create you own and get organized with your blogging today!

I really should do this! My notes are divided evenly between notes on my computer, notes all over my desk, and notes shoved in my bathrobe pockets and handbag. Thanks for sharing!

Thanks for the vid! I did pick up a few tips. I need to get a bit more organized and I use 3-rings for other things so I think I’ll start one for the blog too!

    thanks again,
    Blessings!

I definitely need to do this! I am a note scribbler as well, except usually it’s a “scribble it and forget it” type of thing, although I have good intentions of making good use of my notes. I definitely need to get more organized with my blogging stuff, because I know it would help me maximize my time spent doing blogging things. Thanks for the tips :)

Well, I’m sure your method of organization is much more efficient than my current one which consists of notes scribbled in whatever notebook, napkin or scrap paper are handy, or even more likely to get lost- just in my mind. ;-)
Since I’d like to grow my little blog, I think something like you have here would surely save me a lot of time and lead to greater productivity. Thanks for the ideas!

I have a 3 inch binder that I use for all my online stuff — 2 blogs, a business, consulting/writing work, speaking engagements, etc. Whew! It’s a LOT but it’s so great to have it all in one, organized spot. It has made a huge difference this year for my efficiency.

Thank you for sharing! I definitely need to start keeping track of everything to be more efficient with my blogs and websites. I would like know more about the internet folder you mentioned.

    • Homeschool Blogging

The internet folder is just a landing place for anything that doesn’t fall into the Raising Arrows or Homeschool Blogging category. This would be information we need for certain school-related websites, etc.

Thank you for helping me understanding the internet folder. However, I did start a blog notebook today and it help me see a clear picture as to where I need a little more effort in. Thanks again for sharing.

Just found your website. Thanks for all the great information. Love the idea of a Blogging Notebook. I think my favorite take-away is writing posts on notebook paper and typing them into Word Press later. I struggle with spending too much time in front of the computer and this would help with that. Thank you!
